DNA Magazine calls him one of the 60 Sexiest Men Alive and TV show EXTRA named him one of America’s Most Eligible Bachelors.

So why another post, I hear you ask? Well, being the most achieved and successful fitness model of our times, Greg had to be featured in a blog which celebrates fitness modelling and magnificent macho men! And Greg gets the top spot at Stunning Men!

This 6’1” fitness expert, actor and supermodel was born Gregory George Plitt on 3rd November 1977 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, where he was raised. Greg comes from a family of four, and has an older sister who attended the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis. He has been a fitness buff since his dad bought a home gym when he was in sixth grade.

Not only was he a natural athlete, but he also was someone who excelled in everything he did – and not just sport. Greg was a varsity athlete for football, wrestling  and golf. Over the course of his high school years, he became an All American high school wrestler twice. His senior year, he was Maryland State Champ and #2 in the entire U.S. for the 189 pound class.

Greg was a Golf Club Champion. He owned his own landscaping business with 5 employees, became an expert furniture craftsman and worked in the seafood business and various country clubs in the golf pro shop. Because of his stellar high school record, several other top-notch schools actively recruited Greg.

Greg always wants to challenge himself and he wanted to serve his nation as well as improve himself; thus he chose the United States Military Academy at West Point. While there, Greg was on the West Point Wrestling and Skydiving Teams. He has logged over 1500 jumps to date.

Greg managed to graduate near the top of his class and spent his next five years as an officer in the Army Rangers. Once out of Ranger school, Greg had stints at Fort Benning, Fort Bragg, South Korea, with the 3rd US Infantry (The Old Guard) and as an honour guard and official escort to the President (where his duties included taking part in Reagan's funeral.)

Greg was certified as Airborne Combat, Air Assault, a Master Fitness Trainer,  a Combat Lifesaver, in the Mortar Leader's Course and retired in May 2005 as a Captain and Company Commander of 180 people.

Greg was discovered on the streets of Washington DC while still in the army. Within weeks he was spending his off-duty time jetting off to various locations to do photo shoots and commercials. Greg's first big gig was when he appeared on the cover of Muscle and Fitness and over the next two years he would appear on the cover and editorial pages of numerous magazines, in print and in Internet ads, including photos in: Instinct Magazine, Flaunt, Men's Fitness, Men's Health, FitnessRx for Men, Physical Magazine, American Health & Fitness, Exercise For Men Only, Men's Exercise, Men's Workout, Under Armour, Modell's Sporting Goods and Skimpy.

Greg has also been on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Saturday Night Life as well as on The Guiding Light. He has done commercials for Old Spice, Dodge Ram Trucks, ESPN, Under Armour, MET-Rx and PETA. He has also appeared in countless infomercials.

Greg is the face of Thierry Mugler’s worldwide campaign for his Angel Men and Ice Men fragrances and is a sponsored athlete for MET-Rx Engineered Nutrition, Under Armour Performance Apparel and Gold’s Gym.
Greg has appeared on the big screen in The Good Shepherd, Terminator Salvation and The Watchmen. You’ve also seen him on TV in Bravo’s Workout, HGTV’s Designed to Sell and NBC’s Days of our Lives.

He has done covers and Editorials for Maxim, AXL, American Health & Fitness, Flaunt, Men's Fitness, Muscle & Fitness, Men's Health, FitnessRx for Men, Instinct Magazine, and Men's Exercise among others.
